Hello and welcome
A bit about me
Hi - and welcome to my blog which is about my diving. I’m Clare (otherwise known as Gledders) and I am a keen diver who can be found most weekends in some water or other in the UK. The picture above is me…not that you would know it.
I live in Hampshire near the south coast and am married to Nigel with three children, Benjamin, Eleanor and Archie.
I have been diving since last November and have, to date around 250 dives.
I started out with PADI but have moved to GUE (also known as DIR) and have just achieved my tech 1 rating with Al (who made this blog for me) and Fraser… I’ll try to keep the blog up to date with what we are doing.
And this is me a bit more recognisable.. say hi if we are on a boat together…
In addition I am starting my technical divemaster training with Frank Bruce of E-Aquanauts and in order to do this I am doing the PADI recreational DM course as well. I’ll post what happens on here so drop by to have a laugh.
I am a keen YDer (Yorkshire Divers to those of you who haven’t come across the site) and can be found lurking on the forum most of the time. Come along and join in if you haven’t already - you don’t have to live in Yorkshire - in fact most of us don’t but there are lots of tips, trips and laughs for anyone who believes that life is more fun when you are wet!
